European and Asian stocks and indices are going down this trading morning as American indices are only going up just like they did at the beginning of the week. The growth of their American counterparts can’t help but upset European and Asian markets.
Kospi didn’t change.
Hang Seng declined 0.8 percent.
MSCI Asia Pacific declined 0.2 percent.
S&P 500 futures declined 0.1 percent.
The S&P 500 Index itself gained 0.6 percent.
Stoxx Europe 600 shed 0.3 percent.
FTSE lost 0.5 percent.
DAX is 0.3 percent lower.
MSCI Emerging Market lost 0.2 percent.
In the equities segment of the market we can see rising dollar which is still falling. Other currencies are also recovering from yesterday’s losses.
Dollar lost 0.05 percent against the basket of its six major counterparts.
Euro went up 0.1 percent - $1.1714 – and reached the strongest point in almost 5 weeks.
Pound is surging due to the successful Brexit talks and almost settled EU trade deal - $1.3041 after 0.1 percent gain.
Commodities are gaining for the first time this week.
WTI oil added 0.33 percent - $69.74 per barrel.
Brent rose 0.23 percent - $77.32 per barrel.
Natural gas is up 0.38 percent - $2.87 per MMBtu.
Gold lost 0.15 percent - $1.209.70 per ounce.
Silver declined 0.54 percent - $14.73 per ounce.
Platinum is 0.32 percent down - $795.01 per ounce.
