Asian and European stocks are extending yesterday’s fall that happened because of the contagions fears in emerging markets. There are also fears that indices in Asia are closing in in the worst daily close this year so far.
Hang Seng lost 0.6 percent.
Kospi gained 0.1 percent.
Shanghai Composite gained 0.2 percent.
Topix declined 0.6 percent.
MSCI Asia Pacific declined 0.5 percent.
Stoxx Europe 600 lost 0.3 percent.
S&P 500 futures declined 0.2 percent – lowest point for futures in a week.
MSCI Emerging Market declined 0.6 percent – worst point for the index in 14 months.
With dollar getting more points equities are not as strong, but some gains are seen in the sector of the market.
Greenback got +0.1 percent against the basket of six major currencies.
Euro lost 0.1 percent - $1.1619.
Yen gained 0.2 percent – 111.36 yen per dollar if the value now.
Lira declined 0.4 percent – 6.6271.
In commodities main fears concern oil that is falling with more Iran sanctions looming over the crude.
WTI lost 0.19 percent - $68.59 per barrel.
Brent declined 0.16 percent - $77.15 per barrel.
Natural gas lost 0.29 percent - $2.79 per MMBtu.
Heating oil is 0.17 percent down - $223.07 per gallon.
Gold gained 0.3 percent - $1.204.90 per ounce.
Silver added 0.25 percent - $14.26 per ounce.
Platinum is 0.31 percent up - $786.96 per ounce.
