Stocks across Asia and Europe are sliding down with no additional information on new American tariffs 3emerging for several days already. Markets are stuck in a kind of anticipation and that pressure can be felt in stocks and indices today.
Shanghai Composite went up 0.1 percent.
Topix advanced 0.5 percent.
S&P 500 futures lost 0.2 percent.
Stoxx Europe 600 lost 0.4 percent.
MSCI Emerging Market has lost 0.2 percent.
Equities market is also not impressed with the lack of new numbers from the White House and although there is no sinking in the s3ector, there are no gains either.
Dollar grew 0.05 percent against the six major peers.
Euro grew 0.1 percent - $1.1606.
Yen lost 0.2 percent – 111.38 yen per dollar.
Pound gained 0.1 percent - $ 1.3039.
Commodities’ sector looks much better than yesterday with oil gaining and gold not losing (at least).
WTI oil added 0.18 percent - $67.66.
Brent advanced 0.67 percent - $77.89.
Natural gas grew 0.36 percent - $2.81 per MMBtu.
Heating oil grew 0.52 percent - $222.94.
Gold is still at $1.198.70 per ounce point.
Silver loses 0.29 percent - $14.14 per ounce.
Platinum declined 0.01 percent - $786.51 per ounce.
