European and Asian stocks and indices are mostly losing today with focus shifting to Italian situation and political climate in the world as a whole. Continuity issues in India and Indonesia are playing against Asian numbers today.
Nikkei Stock Average 225 lost 0.63 percent.
Topix declined 1.1 percent.
S&P 500 futures gained 0.1 percent.
Hang Seng lost 0.42 percent.
MSCI Asia Pacific slid 0.6 percent.
Stoxx Europe 600 decreased 0.5 percent.
DAX shed 0.4 percent.
FTSE 100 is at the lowest point in a week after 0.3 percent decline.
MSCI Emerging Market lost 0.1 percent.
Currencies in Europe are looking much better than the greenback with pound and euro having the biggest jumps in several weeks.
Dollar experienced a first retreat in a week with 0.1 percent loss against the six major peers.
Euro grew 0.3 percent - $1.1579 – the biggest jump in three weeks.
Pound grew 0.2 percent - $1.3001.
Commodities are mostly up today with small losses in gold, although the metal has been working as a haven for traders lately and has found a lot of strength among failing markets.
WTI oil added 0.24 percent - $75.71 per barrel
Barrel of Brent advanced 0.31 percent - $85.06.
Natural gas increased per-MMBtu price by 0.25 percent - $3.17.
Heating oil rose 0.25 percent - $241.38 per gallon.
Gold is down 0.02 percent - $1206.7 per ounce.
Silver adds 0.35 percent - $14.75.
Platinum rises 0.01 percent - $831.05 per ounce.
