Green light is signaling about the recovery all across Asian and European markets alike. We are glad to see a development like that – a lot of stocks and indices have hit high points in several week or even months for some of them.
Hang Seng grew 1.1 percent.
Topix rose 2.2 percent.
Shanghai Composite added 1.4 percent.
MSCI Asia Pacific jumped 1.6 percent – the biggest addition to the index in more than 7 months.
Nikkei Stock Average 225 increased 2.2 percent.
S&P 500 futures advanced 0.9 percent – the highest point in more than a week.
Stoxx Europe 600 added 1.7 percent which is the biggest jump in more than half a year.
FTSE 100 grew 1.6 percent – the largest jump in almost 6 weeks.
MSCI Emerging Market gained 1.6 percent.
Currencies are also recovering from the shock. dollar is feeling pretty string and is growing alongside pound. Euro is losing today.
Dollar grew 0.1 percent against the basket of six major currencies.
Euro declined 0.1 percent - $1.1335.
Pound grew 0.4 percent - $1.2789.
Oil is finally managing to add points instead of losing that we have been seeing for the last couple of weeks.
WTI oil advanced 0.14 percent - $66.27.
Brent is still at $75.91 per barrel point.
MMBtu of Natural gas grew 2.23 percent - $3.26.
Heating oil adds 0.86 percent - $227.93.
Gold lost 0.6 percent - $1218 per ounce.
Silver declined 1.05 percent - $14.32.
Platinum rose 0.19 percent - $838.08 per ounce.
