With midterm election coming closer to us there is a chance that we are not going to see stable performance in the markets this week. Of course, as soon as we know the outcome for the elections in the USA we are going to understand more about the overall situation in the markets. For now we see losses in Asian segment and little gains in Europe.
Kospi declined 1.4 percent.
Topix lost 1.1 percent.
Hang Seng lost by as much as 2.3 percent.
Nikkei Stock Average 225 decreased 1.55 percent.
Shanghai Composite decreased 0.9 percent.
S&P 500 futures lost 0.1 percent.
Stoxx Europe 600 advanced 0.1 percent and reached the highest point in three weeks.
MSCI All-Country world lost 0.2 percent.
MSCI Emerging Market lost 0.7 percent.
Dollar is getting strong as of feeling the upcoming post-election storm. Right now the greenback is surging as well as pound, Euro is down.
Greenback advanced 0.1 percent against the basket of six major rivals.
Euro lost 0.1 percent - $1.1374.
Pound grew 0.3 percent - $1.3007.
Commodities are mixed, although oil is gaining its lost point back.
WTI recovered 0.32 percent - $63.34 per barrel.
Brent advanced 0.63 percent - $73.29.
MMBtu of natural gas grew 7.83 percent - $3.54.
Heating oil added 0.8 percent - $219.02.
Gold lost 0.32 percent - $1229.4 per ounce.
Silver declined0.79 percent - $14.64 per ounce.
Platinum lost 0.23 percent - $866.17 per ounce.
