Performance of the markets is changing so rapidly today that it is hard to follow whether the numbers are recovering or losing once again. In the morning we saw recovery in Asia numbers and it seems like it is still ongoing. But Europe on the other hand is still falling with numbers not nearly as satisfactory as they used to be yesterday.
S&P 500 futures lost 0.4 percent.
Topix gained 0.3 percent.
Hang Seng lost 0.4 percent.
Nikkei Stock Average 225 lost 0.01 percent.
Stoxx Europe 600 lost 0.9 percent.
FTSE 100 from UK decreased 0.6 percent.
DAX shed 0.8 percent.
MSCI Asia Pacific fell 0.2 percent.
MSCI Emerging Market lost 0.3 percent.
Greenback is growing again and we see that the growth is not nearly as stable as we would hope it to be. Pound is not extending the gains and falling lower.
Dollar grew 0.1 percent against the basket of six major currencies.
Euro lost 0.1 percent - $1.1275.
Pound lost 0.2 percent - $1.2954.
Oil really scared us this morning with its horrific decline, but we finally see the recovery of the price. Natural gas is s the highest price in a year.
WTI oil added 0.97 percent - $56.23 per barrel.
Brent gains 1.53 percent - $66.47 per barrel.
Natural gas advanced 0.79 percent - $4.1 per MMBtu. The highest point for the commodity in a year.
Heating oil grew 1.05 percent - $208.42 per gallon.
Gold lost 0.15 percent - $1199.6 per ounce.
Silver lost 0.66 percent - $13.89 per ounce.
Platinum declined 0.79 percent - $832.77.
