USD/JPY dropped lower in the Asian session on Thursday and is now near the bottom of the daily trading range, in the region 107.30-25.

The pair failed to benefit from the previous day's recovery from five-month lows and encountered some fresh pressure near the area 107.75 on Thursday amid the weakening of the US dollar.
