The struggle between USD and CAD is just breathtaking today. And not because of both of the currencies are that strong and just trying to make out which one is stronger. Quite the contrary. Both of the currencies are taking hits today and their struggle are just attempts to sink each other. Or so it could seem. Well, with the greenback the situation more or less clear – Iranian conflict is not bringing traders any certainty and desire to keep on working with the greenback. But what is going on with CAD?
Well prices for oil couldn’t help but shake as Iran came under American attack, all be it verbal attack. And as we know oil prices and CAD are mirroring each other – wherever oil goes – CAD follows. And the downfall of prices for oil caused CAD to fall as well. And the turbulence is not over yet as OPEC meeting is scheduled to take place the whole day today. And as we know oil prices do not really like OPEC meetings and always mark them with horrible turbulence of the price.
