Twitter has announced that confidentiality policies and some of the rules of the social network are going to be changed.

The main goal for the changes in the social network is providing more transparency to the system that helps Twitter sort through data which are being gathered and used by the network as well users’ control upon their own data.

According to the source main points in the change are as follows:

1) more attention to the means of governing of personal data;

2) more attention to the way Twitter is going to share users’ data open to everyone;

3) more transparency and control over the way Twitter shares users’ data with its partners;

4) more transparency to the laws Twitter is breaking or following by sharing users’ data.

New rules also state that the users are going to have the rights to every piece of content they are publishing online.
