Just a few days ago a list of the most expensive companies was published. The first place for the eighth year is occupied by Apple. The second place is taken by Google and the third one is occupied by Microsoft. But it seems that the situation is changing very rapidly.

Of course, no one can possibly push Apple away from the spotlight right now. The gap between the two first places is way too big. But disputes over the second place are quite possible. And that is exactly what is happening. Microsoft and Google have been battling for a long time over the second place. Even now the war Is ongoing. And right now Microsoft is surpassing Google even with all of Google’s parent and daughter companies.

Accountants see that it is easy that in the nearest future we will count the market cap not in billions of dollar but in trillions. And Microsoft has the whole potential to become a company market cap of which is accounted up to $1 billion. And we don’t see why not? Analytics say that the CEO of Microsoft Satya Nadella and the founder of it – Bill Gates are to thank to the cloud business for the success of the shares and of the company. The cloud business is accounted of over 30 percent of the revenue of the company.

Currently Microsoft owns more cloud business than Google does but less than Amazon though. So, there you go. One of the main reasons os Microsoft’s success before Google and behind Amazon.
