Hong Kong investment fund has bought a Chinese Bitcoin Company BTCC. The fund is currently remaining unnamed. Assets which are going to be gained after the deal is finalized are to be directed at the development of the conglomerate at the international market after it is gone from China.
After the sell the exchange will continue working with already existing projects, plus add a few new ones.
In 2017 alone, the fund has brought as many as $900 million worth of Bitcoin. It was a very good year for the exchange indeed, as it even has created its own digital wallet which is now used in more than 150 countries of the world. At the same time the crypto exchange which is owned by BTCC has concluded deals for more then $25 billion.
Co-founder of BTCC Bobby Lee has stated that the deal was one of the most important decisions in the entire time of exchange existence and it is fully justified by the work which was done in the last couple of years. He hopes that the profit from the deal will help BTCC develop faster and be aggressive for its own good.
